Purchase Information

   Here at Aspen Valley Bear Dogs we care deeply for every puppy that we bring into the world, and do our best to ensure that they are being placed in the very best of homes. We look for buyers who will provide a loving family and home for our puppies.  We encourage you to research the Karelian Bear Dog breed thoroughly before taking on this obligation, as the Karelians may not be right for every family.  There are a lot of responsibilities that go along with owning a new puppy, so we encourage you to give it much though before you make this purchase.  We are here to assist you in making this very important decision, if you have any questions, please contact us.

  Is the Karelian Bear Dog right for you?  Do you need a dog to protect you and your precious loved ones, yet be gentle and loving to the family?  Do you have a place for the Karelian to roam and feel at home?  Then this breed may be just for you.

Price:

The basic purchase price for an adorable Karelian puppy is $950. This price will include current shots, De-wormer, Registration papers, sales contract and of course a healthy puppy.  Within reason, we are willing to drive part way to meet you in the pick-up of your new puppy or will be happy to make all flight arrangements.  All arrangements MUST be made in advance.


Additional costs if needed:

Airline ticket - Price may vary.  We will be happy to make the shipping arrangements for you or you may make them. We ship to US and Canadian destinations. Puppies must be at least 8 weeks of age to ship and the cost runs between $200 and $400 depending the destination, crate size and weight. For an additional fee we will ship WORLD WIDE.

Crate are costing $85 and up, depending on the size of your puppy. 

Vet check - If your puppy is being shipped by air then a health certificate is required by a veterinarian. Which must be done with in ten days of the flight date. The cost is $75. If an international health certificate is required the cost is $95.  Puppies not being shipped do not require a health certificate. Although, you may request one for the additional fee. 

9 week shots & Worming - if the puppy is staying with us longer than 8 weeks he/she will need his 9 week shot & worming. The cost is $60.00 and you will be responsible for that cost.

Rabies - All puppies that are 12 weeks of age or older must receive a rabies shot for an additional cost is $30, if being shipped.

Reserving a puppy:    Reservations are now being accepted on a first come, first serve basis.   A $300 Nonrefundable deposit will reserve a puppy for a future or current litter. Please ensure, before sending a deposit that you and/or family are committed and this breed/puppy is for you. By sending your deposit you are agreeing to our policies.

Payments:

We happily accept personal checks, cashier's checks, money orders, direct bank deposits, PayPal (credit card) or cash.  If you choose to pay by PayPal, you need to add an additional 3% for handling fees).


We also Reserve the Right:   To Refuse to sell a puppy to anyone that we don’t feel is a perfect fit.
